Scholarship Recipients Announced

We’re excited to announce four recipients of The Cathy and Walter Scott Memorial Fund: Mikako Frostad who is currently a CNA at Hale Makua Wailuku will be continuing her education to becoming an LPN. Jenna Hedani will be furthering her education to become a Certified Professional Coder. Jordan Kahiamoe will be taking the next step to become an Activities Director. Divina Raqueno will be working towards obtaining her Bachelors of Science degree in Nursing. On behalf of the Walter & Cathy Scott Scholarship Committee, we commend each of these individuals on their pursuit of a career in healthcare and continued learning, and wish you the best of luck in your endeavors!

The Cathy & Walter Scott Memorial Fund was created in 1996 to encourage Hale Makua employees to pursue educational opportunities in the field of healthcare. Money earned by the fund provides scholarships that help employees pay for tuition, books, and fees.
