Posted April 12, 2019
Congratulations to our latest graduates from our Nurse Aide Training Program (pictured here from left to right: Lyka Dasalla, Shanaye Recopuerto, Jenise Baniaga-Arzaga, and Nikki Soria). These four individuals worked hard to complete this four week course including 100 hours of course work, labs and clinicals, as required by the State of Hawaii. We are happy to announce that all four of these graduates accepted employment offers by Hale Makua and have now entered our Nurse Aide Apprenticeship which includes 2,000 hours or one year of on-the-job learning and related instruction to enable the apprentice to attain the required competencies of a Nurse Aide.
Our next Nurse Aide Training Program class starts June 22, 2019 and runs through August 18, 2019. Interested applicants should contact our Human Resources office at 871-9263. This course is offered at no cost, conditional on applicants passing the employment interview process. Individuals interested in the course with no employment obligation are able to enroll for a fee of $1,100 which covers course fees and books.
