We recently welcomed our new Kahului Director of Nursing, Keoki Robello, RN. Keoki comes to us from Islands Hospice Maui where he served as the Program Director.

Keoki’s nursing career actually began at Hale Makua back in 2007 when he worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant. He attended UH Maui College for nursing school and progressed his way in Hale Makua to LPN, RN, Charge Nurse, then MDS Coordinator before he joined Islands Hospice Maui in 2015.

When asked what he is most excited about being back at Hale Makua, Keoki says, “Working with the team and working with the residents here. That was always my passion, working hands on with people. I’m excited to be back and returning “home” because I started healthcare here. It feels right to come back to it now in this position.”
