Last Friday, both of our communities carried on the tradition of hosting Valentine's pageants. We're grateful to all who participated, and and helped make this event extra special for our residents and clients. A special mahalo to both of our Activities teams for coordinating the pageants, Jared Brown for providing musical entertainment in Kahului, and Chelsea Guzman for performing the hula in Wailuku.
At Hale Makua Kahului, pictured left, Helen Lee, Ms. Day Health, escorted by Manny Agcolicol, was crowned Valentine's Queen. Ms. Aloha Cafe, Gwendolyn Molina, escorted by Mark Souza, was awarded Best Dressed. Ms. Ilima Peggy Pagan, escorted by Steven Nakashima, was named Most Photogenic. Ms. Pikake Shirley Nobriga, escorted by Stephen Buscama, was awarded Best Smile. Ms. Fitness Jane Thomas, escorted by Ted Tucker, was named Ms. Congeniality. Ms. North Jeanne Wheeler, escorted by Byron Molina, was awarded Best Answer.
