Posted August 14, 2018
Na Hoku Hano Hano Award winners and Grammy nominated singers/songwriters, Amy Hanaiali’i and Raiatea Helm, will headline our annual fundraiser, Kokua for Kupuna. Guests will be treated to an evening oceanfront and under the stars on Saturday, September 8th, at the Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa in Ka’anapali on the Ocean Lawn. Proceeds from the fundraiser help frail elders and disabled individuals who cannot afford healthcare services.
Kokua for Kupuna also features an incredible silent auction with over 100 items from local retailers and restaurants. We are always looking to expand our silent auction selection, if you or someone you know would like to donate, please call 808-871-9271.
If you are interested in joining us for the evening we have a very limited number of tickets left. To find out ticket prices or to purchase tickets, click here.
The theme for this year’s event, Weaving Life Stories, is an opportunity for us to share the rich stories and heritage that our residents and supporters share. Our event will honor long-time Hale Makua Health Services supporters, Maui Jim and Walter Hester, as well as former Board Director Mitch Mitchell, for their vital roles in ensuring that Hale Makua is, and continues to be, a resource for generations of kupuna to come.
Kokua for Kupuna is made possible by the generous support of sponsors: Title Sponsor Atlas Insurance Agency; Major Sponsors Carlsmith Ball, Dorvin D. Leis Co., First Hawaiian Bank, and Maui Health System; and Supporting Sponsors ACM Consultants, AlohaCare, American Savings Bank, Arisumi Brothers, Betsill Brothers, Goodfellow Bros, Hawaii Gas, HFM Foodservice, HMSA, MDX Hawaii, Maui Oil Company, Munekiyo Hiraga, Obenauf Law Group, Sakamoto Properties, UnitedHealthcare Community Plan, VIP Foodservice / Island Grocery Depot, Vizient, and Willis Towers Watson.
